MAG Fun Tandem - Kits

Pertama-tama, sorry banget kualitas video yang pas-pasan. Harap maklum shooting video pakai SLR yang manual focus sepertinya butuh skill hebat dan kita-kita yang terlibat sebagai shooter nya masih butuh latihan hehehe.

Yokomo DRB SSG Build Up

It has been a while since I posted build up articles..

This time, its Yokomo DRB SSG

Ze Box!

Just the usual superglueing..

Starting off with some suspension mount, bridge seat, & battery holder

Installing lower arms early in the build reduces little hassle later

Motor mount & center pulley assy

Now theres a little difference for the center pulley assy, there is an improvement for the idler pulley shaft. Now this eliminates the loud "clicking" noise on the earlier DRB model.

Installing Front 1 way + CS kit 1.8 + Bridge

Yokomo's build quality is quite up there...

Never got board building a Yokomo DRB... most enjoyable times! :D

Now that concludes the build...

So.. whose DRB SSG is this?

The owner of this DRB just starting to learn countersteering almost 2 months ago with a different kit.

But, this DRB is immediately used for Indonesian Yokomo Cup held in Mall Artha Gading last weekend.

And guess what?! he got into 3rd place rookie!

Installing Overdose knuckle on B-spec DRB Bomber

With slight modification, 50 degrees lock is possible using stock steering link :) .. Pretty good news indeed!
This is now my current setup. It has a solid feel and almost no shaking.


my previous setup is below:

It utilizes Guild n One steering link extension (carbon), and plastic DRB knuckle (grinded the stopper). Guild n One steering link extension includes moving the steering link pivot closer to the motor, and extended the steering link.

The minor drawback is the shaking while countersteering during drifts.
